Two blends make up the Adrenalean formula: the Euphoramine Proprietary Blend and the EvoSyn Proprietary Blend.  Unfortunately some of the ingredients in those blends promise to do things that clinical trials don’t support.  Designer Supplements lists arcoline as the,  ”major stimulant of the Euphroamine blend.”  Arcoline, a stimulant similar to nicotine, is billed as a key factor in Adrenalean’s ability to burn fat. L-Huperzine A is more commonly used to boost memory than  it is in playing a role in weight control; Quercetin has been shown in studies to reduce the risk of some cancers but has not been shown to have any benefits related to weight loss. (In Adrenalean Quercetin it is supposed to prolong the duration of fat burning); And synephrine is supposed to boost energy, suppress the appetite and increase the metabolic rate. Unfortunately, there is no credible scientific proof that synephrine helps you lose weight.

If you are not affected by caffeine and other stimulants Adrenalean is probably safe.  The amount of caffeine Adrenalean contains is enough to give most people the jitters if not the shakes.  Another claim of Adrenalean is that it can boost the production of testosterone.  Unfortunately, this is not always good since testerone, the male sex hormone, has also been linked to cancer and other negative effects in men.  Women should never use Designer Supplement products.
